Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week – Hybrid Working

Role Overview
- Reporting to the Group Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, responsible for building high quality BI reporting for the entire business
- This role will set up and establish PowerBI as a primary reporting platform in the business
- Supporting the FP&A team with monthly reporting processes, reporting and analysis to support various group functions
- This is a new role with real opportunity to shape things going forward as we continue to grow as a group to benefit more lives
Your Responsibilities
- To take responsibility for BI reporting in the business as it is collated within a central system. To include, but not limited to:
- Setting up PowerBI from scratch, with technical experience of pulling data from various data sources and structuring this in a logical, complete and accurate manner
- Building accurate and actionable BI reporting for employees across all business functions of Ivolve
- Work to establish PowerBI as the preferred BI tool across the business, replacing older tools and processes and consolidating information safely and securely through appropriate dashboards
- Developing insightful adhoc analysis predominantly within PowerBI, and in some cases Excel
- Working to bring all Balanced Scorecard KPI reporting into a single tool
- Working closely with the data team and others across the business to ensure that the data we hold is accurate, aligned and utilised in the right way
- Building strong relationships with other key data / reporting stakeholders including the Quality Team and People team
- Work closely with the wider teams to ensure end to end reporting is efficient through effective processes and continuous improvement
- Considering and building appropriate levels of data security into all reporting
- Collaborating closely with the Group FP&A manager and appropriately documenting new processes, ensuring process improvements are understood and skills are developed and shared throughout the team and across the business
The role will sit within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team and you will be cross-trained to cover a number of month end reporting requirements for the team. This could include, but is not limited to:
- Ensuring that reporting from our central commercial database is accurate, enabling regular weekly reporting on occupancy, capacity and other commercial drivers of the business
- Supporting the coordination of monthly financial reporting (Exec performance pack and Board pack)
- Ad hoc support to the Group FP&A Manager, and opportunities for development within the finance function, including financial qualifications if desired
The main skills and experience for this role.
Essential.
- Strong, demonstratable Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience working with PowerBI or similar BI tools
- Good at building relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders, with a can-do attitude and collaborative approach to working
- Strong problem-solving skills and focus on process and systems improvement
- Able to prioritise own work and work under pressure to deadlines
- Numerate, with experience and understanding of financial concepts and KPI reporting, not essential that you have worked within a finance team however
Desirable
- Experience of implementing PowerBI in an organisation
- Experience of working with a finance function and/or partly financially qualified (CIMA/ACCA/AAT) is helpful, but not essential
- Experience of working in a multi-site organisation
- Prior experience of working in a healthcare organisation or a similar industry
- Experience of working with databases, such as SQL, understanding best practice for database integration with BI tools
