The Bridlington service is rated CQC Outstanding and the team specialises in supporting adults with Prader-Willi Syndrome who may have dual diagnoses and associated complex needs. We do lots of skills development activities to help the people we support to develop through their care pathway and further develop their independent living skills. East Riding College, Bridlington Campus is a short walk away and the people we support are encouraged to take part in the running of the household including budgeting and shopping.Inside there's a lovely large communal lounge and kitchen diner with access to a large garden area with rabbits and guinea pigs. Our Thingoe Hill service is based in Bury St Edmunds IP32.This newly-renovated property in Bury St. Edmunds offers Supported Living for four people. We have plenty of communal spaces to enjoy and a large south-facing garden that is not overlooked, making it a lovely private outdoor space to relax in. Bury St Edmunds is a historic market town in Suffolk. The area is surrounded by beautiful countryside and plenty of history to explore. The magnificent St Edmundsbury Cathedral is a beautiful attraction, alongside the ruins in the stunning Abbey Gardens. Britain’s first internally illuminated street sign - the pillar of salt, built in 1935, can still be seen. There’s also a network of underground tunnels which are evidence of chalk-workings, although these aren’t open to the public for safety reasons. Bury is very well known for having amazing markets from weekly fruit and veg, to farmers markets and a popular Christmas market. There’s a great variety of shops, cafés, hotels, B&B’s and restaurants here, and public transport is ample.View jobs

We have spacious communal lounges, kitchen and dining areas, and a large outside space with a lawn area. There are plenty of community facilities nearby and we're close to the city centre too. We enjoy lots of activities including getting out horse riding, shopping, swimming, bowling, cinema, dog walking, meals out and visiting theme parks. At home we have theme nights,and enjoy music, arts and crafts, cooking, Jigsaws, and music quizzes. We also get away on holidays too. There are excellent transport links to surrounding areas with the service being close to a main bus route as well as the M1 motorway.Pennine House S40. Here the team has spacious communal lounges, kitchen and dining areas, and a large outside space with a lawn area. We enjoy movie nights in our quiet communal lounge too. With plenty of things close by, we can get out and about in to Chesterfield and Derbyshire. In Clacton-on-Sea we have 5 fabulous services. View jobsMill Lane is a newly renovated residential care home, based in Weeley Heath, a short drive out from Clacton’s town centre and beaches. The fresh, modern style was designed in partnership with the people we support. It’s perfect for the needs of young people aged 18-25, with autism and complex needs, embarking on their journey to independence. There’s a lovely communal lounge, a large garden, and a shared sensory bathroom which has a spa bath and adjustable lighting. We pride ourselves on establishing meaningful positive relationships with those we support, providing them with familiarity, stability, and a homely environment. This includes plenty of activities including swimming, dancing, or holidaying in Center Parcs. We’re close to the local community with great public transport access to Clacton-on-Sea and beyond. Weeley train station is a 10-minute walk away. At Point Clear Road, St Osyth, we have a 5-bedroom house supporting people with learning disabilities and autism. Our dedicated team includes some colleagues who have been at Point Clear since it opened in 2007 with years of experience and some have just started their journey in the care sector. All have varied backgrounds but share the same values and passions. We support people with varied tasks and activities, ranging from personal care and preparing meals, to supporting them on their chosen holidays. Our team loves to cook with all the people we support so they can enjoy lovely homemade dinners, and we enjoy planning meals and menus and then shopping for the ingredients together. We are also lucky to live near so many beaches we have Seawick beach which is only an 8 minute drive in the car, St Osyth holiday park beach which is only a 9 minute drive, and also Clacton beach which is also only 15 minutes drive. We get out to Clacton and enjoy a fish and chip lunch as well as go to the pier to play bowls. We also visit the local village pub where they enjoy playing darts and pool. There is a regular bus service to the home and parking available for drivers. Wellwick House is a large residential home in St Osyth, opposite the Priory and overlooking fields of deer and rare breed cattle. Those who use our services have person-centred support plans and health plans and are often very busy with their chosen activities which include college, swimming, theatre, spa, horse-riding and going out for dinner. Wellwick House is a large listed building with a separate activity room where we all enjoy arts and crafts, bar football, listening to music, reading, playing board games, or holding special occasion parties. We also have a large garden where we like to relax on the swing and play on the trampoline. Or simply soak up the sun with a nice cup of tea in our seated areas. Our team is dedicated and driven. Most have long backgrounds in care and have been at the home since it opened in 1999; some have just started and we are happy to guide them so they can build their career. Weeley Bridge is in CO16. Weeley Bridge is a supported living bungalow in a little village with a local bakery, post office, shop and bus stop as you step outside enabling travel to all area’s in Clacton-On-Sea and into Colchester. There is a local Caravan park that has some on-site entertainment and café that is only a 10-minute walk away. We also have a car to use at the service so we can get out to the community to do plenty of activities such as boat trips, bounceability, willow park, beach days and holidays to Butlins and Centre Parcs. Weeley Bridge is a 5 minute walk from the train station that runs frequently. Day to day we also support with teaching and enhancing life skills such as washing, cooking, cleaning, to help the person we support with independence. We also pride ourselves on the progress of the person we're supporting, particularly with communication, and relationships with family and the community. York Mews has six spacious and modern one-bed apartments and a two-bed apartment. These properties are perfect for people who wish to live independently but require some support. They are available for rent through Auckland Housing Solutions, with supported living services provided by us for people with learning disabilities. We offer dedicated colleagues on site 24 hours a day, with personalised one-to-one support, where required. We're only a few minutes walk from the main High St and an abundance of shops and amusements. This service offers access to a wide community of activities including the famous Clacton Pier and has excellent links to public transport both train and buses within a few minutes walk. Colleagues are here to support individuals to make choices and take the lead on their daily activities and plans. Colleagues also support with household chores, shopping, managing finances and making and attending health appointments as well as social activities and accessing the community for education and work.

We have 6 lovely services in the Colchester area as well as our Region 2 Hub Office. Egerton Green Road and Kingsford in CO2. Kingsford is a detached modern home where we support people with autism, learning disabilities, and fragile x syndrome. We're based on the new estate by the back of the Colchester Army Barracks. We're easily accessible via bus and there is parking for colleagues too. It's a big spacious property with open communal areas including a lounge and dining room and a spacious garden. Lexden in CO3Ipswich Road in CO4. Ipswich road is a bungalow with two bedrooms and a nice communal lounge and kitchen. Here we support people with bipolar disorder, autism, and a person who is registered blind. We're easily accessible by public transport and there's space to park too. Donyland Lodge in CO5 is a supported living service in a village location and lends itself to beautiful open grounds. This is a service for adults with Learning Disabilities. We're close to plenty of facilities, shops, coffee shops, hairdressers, and the local church and village hall. We're also close to the bus stop to the town where we can visit the cinema, castle park, and the leisure centre and bowling alley. Inside Logan’s, there are two large living spaces, of which our tenants enjoy attending movie nights in the lounge, and enjoy evening meals together in our communal dining area. There is a quiet end of the garden which we have a shed that has been converted to a quiet, sensory environment, to support our residents with sensory needs. Each bedrooms is person centred and provide great living spaces, where they can have down time and meet their personal interests in a happy environment.Poplars is a beautiful residential six-bedroom detached house, with three of the bedrooms having en suite facilities. The large outdoor space boasts a decked area with space to barbeque and socialise. The spacious garden area is well equipped with a trampoline, swing and basketball net. In 2016, Larkrise decided to form the Monthly Walk group, inviting the people we support and their families to join the service team on an outing to exercise legs and enjoy each other’s company. The idea was conceived by the service team and a parent of one of the people we support. It quickly grew in popularity and became one of the most important dates of the month for everyone involved in the service.We're on the S1 bus route providing excellent links to nearby Epsom and Carshalton. Central London is easily accessed via the M25 motorway which is a short drive from the service.Tudor Lodge is a specialist residential service for adults with a learning disability, autism, epilepsy, and associated complex needs. We're in a residential area close to local shops, leisure centres, and pubs. There are also several parks in the surrounding areas and the beautiful Lavender Fields is just a short drive away. There are many opportunities for service users to develop new skills, with Sutton College providing accessible courses. Service users are encouraged to take an active part in the daily running of the household including budgeting and shopping and are supported to increase independence. The large garden boasts a vegetable allotment and space for barbeques, games, and socialising. The addition of a conservatory on the rear of the service provides additional communal space for service users to enjoy. We're on the S1 bus route provides an efficient service to nearby towns and Central London can be easily reached with a 20 minute drive to M25 motorway.

We have five services in Wakefield. They're all a few minutes walk from the railway station and local bus routes, plus the M1 is a short drive away. We're in a residential area close to plenty of local shops, parks and sporting facilities. It's also easy to reach Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Hepworth Gallery, Leeds city centre, and the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats Rugby League stadium. Morley Academy is also a short walk away with great opportunities for the people we support to develop their skills. We enjoy going out to bowling, trips out for meals, bingo with local singers, trips to the Ponderosa, local disability music sessions and beautiful local parks for walks. Holidays are arranged with Alverthorpe House and we have access to cafes and shops in a short walking distance and local pubs. The people we support love to celebrate community events and there are lots of local places to visit and fun events to go to. We are a very sociable home and love to celebrate and have parties. We like to celebrate and embrace all ethnicities, festivals of all nationalities and inclusion of LGBTQ we attend outside festivals and hold parties in the garden of the home where we invite other homes, friends, families external professionals to come along and join us this can involve lots of stalls, food tasting and activities. We encourage the people we support as to be as independent as possible and live a fulfilling life. Alverthorpe has local transport links to Leeds, Barnsley, Sheffield, Rotherham through train and bus routes. The home has a Company Car which is available for longer planned day trips, and to support People we support to attend appointments, to visit family members.
