We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Tradesman to join our team covering multiple sites across East Surrey and Essex (Inclusive of RH6, RH16, CR0, CM14, CM1) . The ideal candidate should have a diverse set of skills and experience to complete a range of tasks. A vehicle and fuel card are provided, along with trade cards to ensure that tasks can be performed efficiently and effectively.
Role Responsibilities
- A keen eye on value for money
- Complete bathroom and kitchen refurbishments to a high standard, keeping all stakeholders informed of timescales and the progress of works
- Responsible for multi-trade maintenance tasks/jobs, including minor electrical and plumbing works and the general upkeep of any sites within both residential and supported living services
- Work efficiently and independently or as part of a team, depending on the requirements of the project
- Fire door and vinyl floor fitting
- Planned maintenance works
- Travel between services to undertake works – location is in Surrey & Surrounding areas
- Check emails daily, prioritise and respond to emergencies.
- To ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
- Communicate positively with all managers and respond to their requests verbally in a prompt manner.
- Ensure the health and safety of self, co-workers and clients is upheld for all tasks and duties.
- Carry out tasks if they fall within the remit of professional competence and boundaries.
- Communicate effectively with line manager and facilities support co-ordinator.
- Ensure CAFM system is maintained and updated.

Essential
- Proven experience as a Multi-Trader
- Problem solving skills
- UK Driving Licence
- Willing to travel to properties in Surrey & surrounding areas
- Be willing to do 1 week out of 5 on-call rota, for which an additional payment is made.
- Self-motivated, enthusiasm & flexible
- Strong communication skills
- Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness and a passion to make a difference
- Commitment to the aims and objectives of the home and of Ivolve
- Satisfactory enhanced DBR check
- A commitment to undertake training and development
