Role Overview
As a People Partner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that ivolve employees have a positive and enriching work experience. You will be responsible for developing and implementing initiatives that enhance colleague engagement, satisfaction, and overall wellbeing. This role involves collaborating closely with various departments, managers, and colleagues to create an inclusive and supportive work environment.
Your drive will be to provide proactive and engaging support to your colleagues, all while embodying the core values and ethos of ivolve. A supportive people person, you will nurture best practice, coaching managers through relevant people processes to create an amazing place to work.
Your Responsibilities
Focus on colleague experience, localised colleagues action planning post Survey & Talent mapping and retention with a focus on championing our ivolve extras platform.
Develop effective communication strategies that amplify the colleague voice.
Conduct assessments of management practices and their influence on the overall employee experience.
Proactively design and implement well-being initiatives to continuously enhance both physical and mental wellbeing within ivolve.
Serve as a passionate advocate for ivolve.
Evaluate the impact of people practices and policies on the colleague experience while collaborating with managers to embed our preferred methods of operation.
Support in monitoring and enhancing key performance indicators (KPIs) across the business.
Engage colleagues in completing monthly and annual surveys, offering analysis and taking necessary actions to deliver on desired outcomes.
Oversee improvement plans, encompassing both implementation and action items geared towards enhancing culture and retention, ultimately creating an exceptional workplace for our colleagues.
Conduct weekly employee relations (ER) calls to ensure effective management of personnel files and procedures, guaranteeing compliance with regulations and legislation.
Champion Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I) through targeted interventions such as crafting toolkits, conducting workshops, and leading awareness campaigns.
Identify opportunities for ongoing enhancement of the work experience for colleagues with protected characteristics.
Provide coaching and advice in various ER cases, including investigation support, report writing, and absence management.
Assume responsibility for managing pertinent people data, delivering insights to the Senior Leadership Teams as per agreements outlined by your manager to drive business improvements.
Identify areas for improvement and support managers in devising appropriate strategies through coaching, mentoring, and exemplifying best practices.
Collaborate effectively to achieve desired outcomes, ensuring colleague experience and welfare are maintained, and services are safe, effective, caring, well-led, and responsive.
Lead the organisational change consultation processes for both internal and external projects, such as TUPE or internal transfers for new services.
The main skills and experience for this role
Possess a level 5 CIPD qualification.
Be a driver and willing to travel to services within the region.
Display flexibility in accommodating the needs of the individuals we employ and support, recognising that this may entail adapting work schedules to successfully accomplish our objectives.
Possess a wealth of extensive experience in this field or a related HR position.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Flexible and adaptable – able to work with ambiguity and changing priorities.
Problem solving ability – resourceful and capable of finding solutions to challenges independently.
Strong attention to detail.
Calm under pressure and able to handle unexpected or urgent matters.
Proficiency in office 365.
