Vacancy Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire, WF2 9JF
Shifts: Full-time 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)
Pay Rate: £12.44 per hour

About You
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to join our dedicated team.

First and foremost, you will provide support and care to the amazing people we support with a wide range of complex needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI and mental health needs.
As a Team Leader you will demonstrate a natural ability to motivate people and create and amazing place to work.
Role Responsibilities
Empowering the people we support to be ambitious and live fulfilled lives, supporting them to flourish in a place they call home.
Create, organise and monitor individual care plans to ensure safe practices. You’ll ensure you understand individual needs- person-led care is at the heart of what you do.
Provide personal care including support with health and medication needs, handling personal possessions, finances and documents, shopping.
Lead the team of support workers whilst on shift, providing guidance and support for our colleagues, inspiring them to be the best they can be.
Organise the team to ensure all tasks are completed. Solve problems and delegate tasks, coach the team to work in a way that demonstrates an understanding and commitment to the rights of people with complex needs.
Manage attendance, annual leave and absences. Authorise timesheets. Plan rotas to meet service standards.
Follow our procedures to ensure we give consistent, safe and reliable care and support.
Assess and support your team to deliver brilliant quality every day.
Process finances and manage medication orders.
Desirable skills and experience
- RQF Level 2 or above in social care
- Previous experience as a Team Leader/ Senior Support Worker within social care setting
- Knowledge and commitment regarding Equal Opportunities
