Contract: Fixed term for an initial period of 9 months

Location: Chesterfield, S41 7SL

 

Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will lead and deliver a successful implementation of Oracle NetSuite moving 43 legal entities onto a single ERP platform, working with regional finance teams across Chesterfield, Surrey, Essex and Swansea.

You will be a finance subject matter expert who can work closely with the project manager of our system implementation partner and who has sufficient IT knowledge to work effectively with internal and external IT partners on the implementation.

 

As a Finance System Implementation Manager, the role will include but not limited to:

*    Working closely with implementation partner, finance and IT colleagues to ensure the project has a detailed and joined up plan, a clear timeline and milestones- including scope, objectives, timelines and budget

*    Project management of all key deliverables within that plan, ensuring it is updated, contributors are held to account to deliver, and the plan remains on track

*    Coordinate resources, including equipment and materials, to ensure project success

*    Identify and assign project tasks based on the skill sets, experience and strengths of team members

*    Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure timely delivery

*    Manage relationship with third party implementation partner, holding them to account to deliver against agreed scope of work and monitoring usage of time to ensure any additional costs are avoided where possible

*    Scope work required in finance team to prepare for implementation of new system including identifying new processes required (e.g. establishment of master data process)

*    Impact assessment of system change for finance teams and other functions across the group, identifying risks and mitigating actions

*    Identify other impacts because of the finance system change (e.g. updates to group policies required) and ensure plan in place to deliver these changes.

*    Plan & execute communications with all key stakeholders including existing finance teams to ensure project objectives, timeline and impacts are fully understood. Also includes communications plan for external stakeholders

*    Build relationships with all teams across the finance function and leverage these to ensure there is strong engagement in the new solution and all team members are bought in to the change

*    Ensure there are regular updates for all stakeholders on project progress including any challenges and issues and plans to address these

*    Leverage Oracle NetSuite expertise to support the finance team to design ‘to be’ processes to ensure consistent and efficient ways of working in new system & system set up is effective and aligned

 

Skills & Experience:

 

Essential

 

*      Track record of successfully completing project management of the implementation of Oracle NetSuite within a multi-site organisation

*      Proven experience in initiating projects, planning, delegating, managing and risk mitigating.

*      Experienced project manager, organised and thorough and able to hold others to account to deliver to agreed timeline

*      Strong communicator, able to quickly build strong relationships and trust with remote teams

*      Detailed knowledge at transactional level of all major finance processes (sales order to cash, purchase to pay, record to report etc.)

 

Desirable

*      Prior experience of working in a healthcare organisation or a similar industry

*      Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
